A series of presentations on prospects for agricultural intensification, restoration of agro-ecosystems and their potential contributions to increased food security and local resilience.

This event provided a forum for:

  • Sharing information on the challenges and opportunities for scaling up improved land and water management in agricultural development strategies

  • Taking stock of emerging evidence and lessons learned from re-greening successes and their contribution to food security and resilience, and

  • Reviewing proposed investment strategies and program interventions to boost crop yields and provide other benefits from sustainable landscape management
