We are pleased to invite you to a hybrid version of Forest Legality Week from October 17-21, with the generous support and cooperation of the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

This year’s event will take place as a hybrid event out of WRI’s Washington, D.C. office with options for remote participation. The event will focus on a range of topics, including an update on timber legality regulations, changes to international cooperation on forest governance, an update on early warning systems for deforestation, policy responses to deforestation in commodity supply chains, and a regional focus on the Amazon.
