Ettore WRI's Data Systems and Institutional Reporting Manager. As part of the Managing for Results team, he is responsible for managing WRI's global annual planning and learning processes, leading to evidence-based insights for internal decision-makers and external stakeholders. Ettore is based in The Hague, the Netherlands, but his work supports planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning across WRI's entire network.

During his tenure at WRI, Ettore was a member of the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities' Global Strategy and Management team, where he innovated the program management process by introducing Business Intelligence systems to support decision-making, and co-lead the implementation of a Project Management Office (PMO).

Beyond WRI, he has experience in the management consulting and fintech industries in Brazil. He also team leader of the Spectator Service's Team for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Porto Alegre.

He holds a cum laude MSc. degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis with a specialization in Economics and Finance from the Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, where he was also awarded a full scholarship. Previously, he obtained a cum laude bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with an emphasis on decision support systems, risk management and enterprise performance management.

Ettore is also an amateur linguist, an avid traveler and a dog lover. He is fluent in six languages and is currently learning another two.
