Lasiran Silalahi is the Grants and Finance Manager for WRI Indonesia. He works to prepare and maintain sub-grant agreements and contracts with various stakeholders, particularly partners and contractors. He also assists Program Managers in ensuring compliance with the logframes, as well as terms and condition of grant requirements. Additionally, he assists the Program Manager, Operation & Coordination Associate, Operation Director to update WRI Indonesia quarterly and annual budget and create budget for upcoming proposals. He monitors life grant reporting and ensure progress reports are submitted timely manner. He prepares project financial report to donor and ensure financial transaction complied with donor financial reporting requirement. He assists Project Manager and Operation & Coordination Associates to review monthly basis the transaction and finance of the project, performs regular WRI Indonesia bank reconciliation, as well as maintains Fixed Assets Register and Depreciation Schedule, petty cash. He also assists Operation & Coordination Associates to prepare project and annual institution audits.

Prior to joining WRI, Lasiran worked with The World Agforforestry Center (ICRAF). There, his main responsibility was to administer collaborative research contracts with institution and students. This includes reviewing contract terms and conditions, budget proposal, as well as financial reports. He also provides collaborators orientation on ICRAF financial accountability, reporting procedure, training as necessary. He prepares disbursement to the collaborators, processes and monitors expenditures of the various field offices in Indonesia. He is responsible to prepare grants report to Project Leader and Donors, as well as annual bilateral grants budgeting.
