Scott is the new IT Director for WRI. He will help standardize technology platforms and systems to create a “One WRI”. He will be developing an overarching enterprise wide IT Strategy and implementation plans, work closely on large IT projects and support upgrading the companies IT infrastructure.

Scott is a focused and dynamic senior management professional with extensive credentials and experience directing information technology and business management plans. He has over 20 years of experience as a high-level problem-solver with a talent for effectively handling complex challenges and maintaining change. He is an excellent motivator with the aptitude for assessing corporate needs and delivering programs that meet goals and remain within budgetary guidelines. He has held positions at NASA, eTelemetry (a startup he founded focusing on network traffic and passive identification), National Center on Education and the Economy, America’s Choice Inc., Lockheed Martin and other technology related companies. Most recently he worked for the world’s largest education company, Pearson, where he was responsible for (among many other things) the integration work for disparate business and operations systems, transitioned thousands of users to cloud based applications, and provided significant solution building as part of worldwide strategic organization changes.

Scott Holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC)

In his free time he enjoys watching the Orioles and Redskins, bicycling, sailing, fishing and eating crabs.
